ANEDO at BAUMA

Tuesday 15th March

We are exhibiting at BAUMA in Munich for the second time now. This year, we are presenting our new automation concept open:system, which can be used to bring mobile machinery onto the market easily and safely. Without any laborious programming, manufacturers can equip machines easily and in the shortest time with exactly the desired functions for control and operating equipment. The open:control control system application software for the entire machine is prepared using the tried and tested development and programming system CODESYS® V3.5, which is widely used in automation technology. This allows tailored I/O modules to be allocated directly in the control system and with CANopen®, J1939 and ISOBUS interfaces in almost any manner to the machinery thanks to EtherCAT-Netzwerk®. The entire automation system of a prototype has an open-ended configuration and can be changed by simply putting together the modules and components at any time during the product life cycle. The hardware is thus very compact and can be accommodated in the smallest space. The concept enables the creation of individually tailored equipment and therefore it can also automate the smallest machinery.

Machinery terminal or iPad?

open:panel combines the best of both worlds through its ultra-ergonomic housing design in three different display sizes of 5.6" – 8.4" – 12.1". Different concepts for operating the machinery include among others gesture controls and tactile feedback through Slidestick technology and the possibility to use external displays, HUDs or iPads to expand the user interface.
